The National Building Envelope Council/Conseil National de l’Enveloppe du Bâtiment (NBEC/CNEB) of Canada is a non-profit organization that was incorporated in Edmonton, Alberta, the 8th of December 1987.

British Columbia Building Envelope Council (BCBEC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a platform for proponents of the building industry to discuss issues and exchange information on building envelope issues. BCBEC was registered under the Societies' Act in 1990.

Alberta Building Envelope Council North (ABECN) is a non-profit society dedicated to encouraging the pursuit of excellence in the design, construction, and performance of building enclosures and to advancing educational and technical standards within the Building Envelope industry.
Alberta Building Envelope Council South (ABEC) is a Non Profit Society Dedicated To The Promotion Of Better Understanding Of The Building Envelope. The Building Envelope incorporates all of the roofs, walls, windows, floors and foundations that enclose the indoor environment of a building.
The Manitoba Building Envelope Council (MBEC) is a non-profit organization that began in 1986. The object of MBEC is to promote the pursuit of excellence in the design, construction and performance of the building envelope.
